History

Silas Micah Ayers was born October 31st 1984 in Brooklyn, New York. He was the second-born child of his father and the first born child to his mother. Dinah Davies; was a relatively young girl when she gave birth to Silas, she had just graduated from High school. She met his father, Quentin Ayers when she was an 8th grader . Quentin was a senior and somewhat of a ladies man. The two were in the same study hall and were placed near one another because the teacher thought that seating the younger students with the older one’s would keep them from “fraternizing”. (Quentin Ayers is not really his father, they neglected to give him all of the details of how he came to be, his father is really Wesley Cowens)

Shortly after Silas’s birth, his parents decided to take the next step and get married. They bought a small, two bedroom starter home thinking that it would be enough for their small family, but soon enough their young family began to bud and the second child together, [daughter] was born and shortly after another baby boy. Silas had been too young to object to a baby brother being born. As the two grew up and their family expanded more and more each year, the two of them stayed close together having even gone to school at the same time. They were in many of the same classes and hung out with the same crowd of folks, the “unsavory” crowd but they seemed to have fit right in.

Though Silas wasn’t much for school and learning he did graduate in 2003. Silas longed for that day when he was able to walk away from his parent’s household. Not too long after graduating Silas took a road trip and moved between a few states trying to find his niche, along the way he found himself married and still unhappy with life. To support his family while trying to gain an education he worked for the delivering the newspaper to customers, sometimes not getting any sleep so he didn’t miss his pick up time.

About a year into his college career, Silas’s wife filed for divorce claiming infidelity on his part. This crushed Silas and forced him to drop out of school and moved to Crocker Park which is as far as his car could go on what he had on him and in the gas tank, Living in his car in a parking garage. That was stopped after about three months having been spent there. Early one morning a member of the staff found Silas sleeping in his car and asked him to meet with him inside of one of the nearby buildings, Silas was certain that the man was going to have him hauled off to jail; instead he had offered him a job as a janitor. It wasn’t the most glamorous job in the world but it helped him on his feet.

Recently Silas found out that he was in fact not the son of Quentin Ayers but the son of Wesley Cowens, this sent Silas into an awkward mode he didn't know how to treat his cousin Devin because they now weren't only cousins but brothers as well. Silas felt out of place and especially discontent because his cousin didn't believe him that he was really the son of Wesley. His brother Liam moved down to South Carolina because of the fighting back home, it made Silas' day when the boy decided to take this step. It made him feel less like an outcast and feel more at home.

Personality

Silas is a quiet and reserved individual who is interested in security and peaceful living. He has a strongly-felt internal sense of duty, which lends him a serious air and the motivation to follow through on tasks. Organized and methodical in his approach, he can generally succeed at any task which he undertakes.He is very loyal, faithful, and dependable. He places great importance on honesty and integrity. Silas is a "good citizen" who can be depended on to do the right thing for his family and community. While he generally takes things very seriously, he also usually has an offbeat sense of humor and can be a lot of fun - especially at family or work-related gatherings.

Often he tends to believe in laws and traditions, and expects the same from others. He's not comfortable with breaking laws or going against the rules. If he is able to see a good reason for stepping outside of the established mode of doing things, he will support that effort. However,Silas more often tends to believe that things should be done according to procedures and plans. If he has not developed his Intuitive side sufficiently, he may become overly obsessed with structure, and insists on doing everything "by the book".

Silas is extremely dependable on following through with things which he has promised. For this reason, he sometimes get more and more work piled on him. Because Silas has such a strong sense of duty, he may have a difficult time saying "no" when he is given more work than he can reasonably handle. For this reason, he often works long hours, and may be unwittingly taken advantage of. Often he will work for long periods of time and put tremendous amounts of energy into doing any task which he sees as important to fulfilling a goal. However, he will resist putting energy into things which doesn't make sense to them, or for which they can't see a practical application. He prefers to work alone, but works well in teams when the situation demands it. He likes to be accountable for his actions, and enjoys being in positions of authority. Silas has little use for theory or abstract thinking, unless the practical application is clear.

Naturally he's in tune with his own feelings and the feelings of others. He may have difficulty picking up on emotional needs immediately, as they are presented. Being a perfectionist, he has a tendency to take other people's efforts for granted, like he takes his own efforts for granted. He needs to remember to pat people on the back once in a while.He's likely to be uncomfortable expressing affection and emotion to others. However, his strong sense of duty and the ability to see what needs to be done in any situation usually allows him to overcome his natural reservations, and is usually quite supporting and caring individual with the people that he loves. Once the he realizes the emotional needs of those who are close to him, he can put forth effort to meet those needs.

Quickfacts

Has a small collection of replica vintage star trek figures and memorabilia that he takes meticulous care of even to the point of opening them up and detailing them.

Sweets of any kind are a big weakness for him, he is more than likely found sitting in front of his computer with a bag of fun sized candy bars at his side.

Grunge/Alt rock is his obsession, if you’re riding in the car with him be prepared to hear a plethora of 90’s rock blasting from his stereo. His favorite, of course is Bush.

His blood is 3/4ths Caffeinated beverage. He can be seen drinking anything from Faygo to RC and of course anything in between, though his pop of choice is Coke.

Gaming is like second nature to him, he and his brother have game nights with one another and the loser has to do something uncouth. With the two of them having very disgusting minds you can bet that they play for blood.

The story he was told all of his life was a lie, he's really the son of a drug dealer whom he knows of as an "uncle". The cousin that he grew up admiring is really his brother.
